Three Arrested by Darlington Police for Drug Trafficking

According to a release, three people have been arrested by Darlington Police Department on drug trafficking charges on Thursday morning.

Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at 102 Faith Lane in Darlington around 3:30 a.m.

When they got to the scene, officers discovered marijuana and cocaine, and then got a search warrant, according to the release. They also discovered other amounts of powder cocaine, crack cocaine, methylenedioxymethamphetamine (M.D.M.A.)”ecstasy”, and cash in the residence.

According to police, Reginald Andre Dudley, 25, Nikia Lakenya Smith, 24, and Shanitta Danyel Alford, 24, were arrested and charged with trafficking in powder, crack cocaine, MDMA, marijuana, and possession with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm during a violent crime.

“Drug dealing of any type will not be tolerated within the city of limits of Darlington. We thank the officers involved in this investigation for their dedication to keeping drugs out of the hands of our young people and other citizens in Darlington”, stated Kelvin Washington, Chief of Police for Darlington.

This case is still under investigation by the Darlington Police Department.
