According to reports from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, actor Jeremy London has been arrested in Jackson County on charges of domestic violence simple assault, a misdemeanor.
The report was made by TMZ and Marcia Hill who is Jackson County Sheriff’s Department spokesperson claims most of the information in the report is accurate.
Officers got a call at around 12:23 p.m. and by 7:40 p.m. on Friday which they responded to, according to Hill.
According to reports, London’s spokesperson claimed that the London was arrested due to the incident with his wife, Juliet London.
“Now it will be headed to the justice court,” Hill said. (TMZ)
This is not the first domestic violence charge London has faced as, his ex-wife Melissa Cunningham claimed London pulled her hair and hit her on the head in 2012, but the charge was later dismissed. They separated in 2011 and he got married to his present wife Juliet in 2014.
London is popular for his role in the movies “Mallrats,” “7th Heaven” and “Party of Five.”
He also appeared on Dr. Drew’s “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew” where he spoke about being addicted to painkillers and the incident that happened in 2010 when London said he was kidnapped and forced to smoke drugs at gunpoint.
London was released from custody on a $2,500 bond.
