Police Arrest Suspected Drug Dealer in Fall River with Hundreds of Opiate Pills

A treasure trove of drugs has been recovered by the Newport Police detectives from a suspected dealer after a search warrant was executed in Fall River.

The detective’s surveillance of a home on 10 Hall Street revealed 40-year-old Adam Silvia, leave the residence in a vehicle. He was immediately stopped and after getting a search warrant they recovered 4 ounces of marijuana, 50 pills of oxycodone and 28.3 grams of cocaine say police.

A search of the residence on Friday morning revealed an additional 180 pills of oxycodone, 32.5 grams of cocaine, and 2.7 ounces of marijuana was discovered after a search of the residence on Friday morning, according to a release.

According to the police, they also discovered a total of $2,128 in drug profits from the vehicle and the home.

Silvia is being charged with trafficking over 36 grams of cocaine and trafficking over 18 grams of opiates.
