Pineville Suspects Arrested After Allegations of Battery and Aggravated Assault

The Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to Diane Street in Pineville concerning a disturbance on September 17, 2017.

The complainant made a report to deputies that Mark Francis Lindsay, 40, and Christie Lynn Lindsay, 37, committed a battery upon the reported victim. It was also shown that amid the battery, Mark armed himself with a knife and threatened the victim with the weapon.

Because of the suspects had left the scene preceding to law enforcement arrival, the case was sent to detectives for further investigation. An adequate reasonable cause was established and warrants were granted for Mark’s arrest for aggravated assault and simple battery. A warrant was also granted for Christie’s arrest for simple battery.

Deputies located Mark and Christie on April 21, 2018, and then arrested them without incident. Both were booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center in reference to their respective warrants, as well as outstanding warrants through other local agencies.

Mark was released on April 24 after posting a $1,500 bond. Christie was released the following day after posting a $4,000 bond.
