35-year-old Yaphet Bradley has been charged with killing his ex-girlfriend after he was arrested by a fugitive task force. He dumped her body in a garbage can at a deserted house in Cleveland.
According to U.S. Marshals Service spokesman, Bradley smashed a task force vehicle and tried to escape before being arrested on Friday night in Cleveland. A 25-year-old woman was arrested alongside Bradley for felony drug warrants.
31-year-old Miriam Johnson of Cleveland Heights was shot in the head and stabbed multiple times by Bradley before he disposed of her body earlier this month. He’s charged with aggravated murder, gross abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence.
Another man has been charged with gross abuse of a corpse for allegedly helping Bradley.
Court records didn’t indicate whether Bradley has an attorney.
