OC deputies arrest Louisiana fugitives; stolen vehicle recovered

Two fugitives wanted in Bossier, Louisiana, were arrested by Ozark County Sheriff’s deputies Oct. 20 in the Tecumseh area. Ozark County Sheriff Darrin Reed said Patricia Lynn Rush (also known as Patricia Lynn Erter), 37, and Justin James Willie, 34, had a 1-year-old child with them when they were arrested. The child has reportedly been taken into protective custody after methamphetamine, paraphernalia for using methamphetamine and other controlled substances were found during the arrest.

According to court documents, the pair are alleged to have committed felony monetary instrument abuse in Bossier Parrish, Louisiana. A website story from Bossier-area news station KTBS reports that the pair are alleged to have created and used counterfeit checks at several businesses in that area. It was suspected that the pair were driving a 2004 Jeep Liberty that they purchased with a counterfeit check. Reed said the vehicle was found at the Tecumseh residence where the pair were arrested. They are currently being held in the Ozark County Jail on fugitive warrants with $75,000 bond each.

Reed said authorities from Lousiana will travel to Ozark County to pick up the two fugitives and recover the stolen vehicle.
