Man Pleads Guilty to Armed Robbery for Robbing a Hagerstown Dominoes

A man from Hagerstown has pleaded guilty to armed robbery at the Washington County Circuit Court.

Jose Maldonado was sentenced to 8 years and pay for the guilty plea.

Back in July of 2017, Maldonaldo got into the Dominoes on North Prospect Street in Hagerstown demanding money and threatening the workers with a brick as a weapon.

Maldonaldo was ordered to serve an extra 5 years for violating parole on past convictions.

He was ordered to have 3 years of supervised probation upon release. The court recognized that Maldonaldo has had a history of mental illness.
