Man From Great Falls Arrested and Charged with Sixth DUI

According to reports, 42-year-old Thomas Troy Lakey of Great Falls has been accused of his sixth DUI which is a felony.

Lakey is now being charged with DUI, driving while license is suspended or revoked and failure to give notice of an accident by quickest means.

According to court documents, deputies were called to a bar on April 11 in the Helena Valley after a man, who ended up being Lakey, pulled into a parking lot at a high-speed rate.

Lakey showed deputies his identification card, and a search uncovered that his driver’s license was revoked with various past DUIs, according to court documents. He admitted to drinking and had the smell of an alcoholic beverage on his breath, court documents claimed.

Court documents stated that Lakey was arrested after showing multiple signs of impairment.
