A man has been charged by Lower Pottsgrove Police after he was allegedly seen to be driving under the influence of alcohol.
Police said on May 28, at 11:32 p.m., Officer Bond saw a white Mercedes Benz CL63, traveling westbound on Route 422 at mile marker 176.2. The vehicle was traveling 93 mph in a marked 55 mph zone.
Officer Bond was able to catch up to the vehicle and saw more vehicle code infractions. Officer Bond started a traffic stop and came in contact with Kevin Paulhill, 52.
According to police, while speaking with Paulhill, Officer Bond saw signs of being under the influence of alcohol. Paulhill confessed to drinking and Officer Bond carried out a sobriety test on Paulhill. Amid the tests, Paulhill showed numerous clues of impairment, according to police.
Paulhill was arrested and placed in custody and taken for a breath test. Paulhill refused to agree to a breath test, according to police.
A summons was issued charging him with DUI and related offenses.
