According to recent reports, a Henrietta man was indicted by a grand jury on 29 felony counts of child sex abuse-related charges.
Mark Buechler, 44, was indicted on Friday by a Monroe County grand jury. He faces two counts of predatory sexual assault against a child, three counts of a second-degree criminal sexual act, two counts of use of a child in a sexual performance as a sexually motivated felony, 20 counts of possessing a sexual performance by a child, and two counts of first-degree sexual abuse.
Buechler was arrested at first on May 3 by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office as part of a sexual abuse investigation. Investigators on the case have refused to disclose much about the incident, only going as far as to state that they are searching for any more victims who may have been abused by Buechler.
Monroe County Child Protective Services was also brought into the investigation with the Sheriff’s Office.
Buechler remains in the Monroe County Jail without bail.
