Lucas Peralta, 19, of 18101 Point Lookout Dr., Apt. 474 Houston, Texas, and a rising sophomore is charged with a second-degree forcible sex offense. He was given a $75,000 bond.

The alleged assault occurred on April 6 around 10:29 p.m. in Global Building A, according to reports. Peralta was arrested on June 21 and has a court date on July 13. The global neighborhood is behind Lake Mary Nell.

Alamance County District Attorney Patrick Nadolski would refuse to comment on whether Peralta knew the victim or not.
