Drug Sting Operation by Greene Authorities Leads to 12 Arrests

According to authorities with the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, 12 people have been arrested on drug charges as part of a sting operation called “Operation Purge.”

Those arrested were:

  • Eric Nelson Bryant, 34, of Fluvanna County, charged with felony possession of a schedule I or II drugs;
  • Melicia Ceesay, 42, of Greene County, charged with felony possession of a schedule I or II drugs, felon in possession of ammunition and misdemeanor possession of marijuana;
  • James Alvin Davis III, 35, of Greene County, charged with felony possession of a schedule I or II drug and driving while license is revoked;
  • Jarvis Jermain Doty, 32, of Greene County, charged with five counts of felony possession of a schedule I or II drugs;
  • Mark A. Hinton, 59, of Greene County, charged with two counts of felony possession of a schedule I or II drugs;
  • Patrick David Miller, 27, of Greene County, charged with felony possession of a schedule I or II drugs;
  • Cheyenne Marie Alice Morris, 19, of Albemarle County, charged with four counts of felony possession of a schedule I or II drugs, possession of marijuana and obstruction of justice;
  • Sean A. Perkins, 23, of Greene County, charged with two counts of felony possession of a schedule I or II drugs;
  • Kristen Lee Reese, 29, of Greene County, charged with felony possession of a schedule I or II drugs;
  • Manika Lynn Roach, 38, of Greene County, charged with felony possession of a schedule I or II drugs;
  • Anthony Ross Rogers, 22, of Greene County, charged with felony possession of a schedule I or II drugs; and
  • Casey Leo Walts, 21, of Greene County, charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and possession of marijuana.

Davis and Doty have been released on unsecured bonds. The other 10 are being held by authorities.

According to a news release, additional arrests are “imminent.”
