A stabbing in Murfreesboro has led to the death of one individual.
Police responded to a stabbing call in the 300 block of Jackson Street just after 11 p.m. on Saturday. According to the Murfreesboro police department, a victim was found and transported by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
According to witnesses report to the police, a physical disagreement happened before the suspect stabbed the victim multiple times. The suspect fled on foot, but officers located him and took him into custody.
The victim is identified by police as 31-year-old Drew Cronin of Murfreesboro.
The suspect, 38-year-old Timothy Davis Jr., is charged with second-degree murder and is being held without bond.
