Two Brevard County residents were charged by Sebastian Police with drug trafficking after meth, heroin and cocaine were found in their hotel room early Wednesday in a sting operation.
Alisha Markell Neil, 25, of Rockledge, was charged with Methamphetamine trafficking, Heroin trafficking, Cocaine trafficking, Possession of THC extract, and Possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana.
Corderro Dante East, 29, of Melbourne, was charged with the same five crimes, as well as sale of heroin.
According to arrest affidavits, Dante and Alisha was arrested by Sebastian police at Best Western, 1655 U.S 1, after an informant bought heroin from East inside a room shortly after midnight.
A search warrant was applied for immediately police knew the room number and they got into the hotel room where Neil and East were sleeping about 2 a.m.
According to affidavits, 24 grams of heroin, 59 grams of methamphetamine, 22 grams of powder and crack cocaine, 4 grams of marijuana and a vape pen filled with THC was discovered inside the room.
A digital scale, $4,600 cash, and small plastic bags was also found in the hotel room, according to investigators.
Neil told police the drugs were hers.
“She was asked what job she had and she replied ‘This,’ referring to drug dealing,” her arrest affidavits said.
Both East and Neil remained in the Indian River County Jail late Wednesday. His bail was set at $1,160,000; hers was set at $1,010,000.
