Caroline Hearn, 21, an Atrium Health worker is being indicted for sexually assaulting a female patient who is 16-year-old at the hospital.
Hearn was arrested on Thursday and a substitute parent or custodian charged her with sexual activity.
As indicated by a police report, the victim told officers that Hearn touched her for sexual satisfaction without permission.
According to reports from a Channel 9 reporter Mark Becker, the victim has been at Levine Children’s Hospital for a little while and that Hearn was allocated to watch the 16-year-old.
There is a surveillance video showing Hearn making advances on the victim but being pushed away by the victim, according to a source.
According to reports, the incident took place on Thursday in a restroom where there are no surveillance cameras.
Police talked with Hearn and later filed the charge against her.
Hearn was discharged from prison on Friday.
